Debriefs & Mentorship

Debriefs

Space to process. Clarity to move forward.

Birth work is profound, but it can also be heavy. If you’re carrying the weight of a difficult shift, a traumatic birth, or the daily moral distress of an unsupportive system, you don’t have to process it alone.

I offer one-on-one debrief sessions designed to help you integrate your experiences in a way that supports your well-being and your ability to show up fully in your work and life. These sessions can be scheduled as a single debrief or a series of ongoing support.

My approach is rooted in somatic awareness and nervous system integration, drawing from my 900 hour training in Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté.  We can discuss clinical details in a HIPAA-compliant format, but the deeper goal is to help you find clarity, presence, and a renewed connection to yourself.

Debrief sessions are for you if you want to:
  • Process a traumatic birth or critical event

  • Discuss the challenges of navigating hospital culture

  • Evaluate a birth through a Spinning Babies® Aware lens

  • Recover a sense of safety, connection, and purpose

  • Develop somatic tools for nervous system regulation

Your work matters. So do you. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, let’s talk.

Mentorship

Transform hospital birth. Reclaim the Art of Perinatal Nursing.

You're passionate about supporting physiologic birth—but working in a medicalized system leaves you frustrated, exhausted, and wondering how to create real change. You’re not alone.

This mentorship is for labor and delivery nurses who want to:

  • Deepen their clinical skills in physiologic birth support

  • Navigate hospital culture with confidence and advocacy tools

  • Build communication skills to influence change

  • Work with an experienced mentor and a like-minded cohort

  • Feel resourced, connected, and inspired in their work

Over 12 months, we’ll explore the systems shaping birth, hands-on labor support, somatic tools, and strategies for shifting hospital culture—so you can become the nurse families and colleagues look to for leadership in birth.

What’s included:

  • Small cohort (only 8 spots!)—not just another Zoom course

  • Live mentorship calls every other week

  • Private community for support between sessions

  • Up to 75 CEs & a curated resource library

  • Exclusive discounts for retreats & trainings

  • License to teach Foundations In Physiologic Birth course (created for RN and MD residents) at your hospital

Join the movement of nurses transforming hospital birth.  I look forward to meeting you in the June 2025 cohort of BirthWise Nurses.
