Kelly Dungan

Kelly is a midwife and nurse educator who translates physiologic principles for the hospital setting. She has taught over 5,000 birthworkers as a Spinning Babies® Approved Trainer. Her work has been featured at state level AWHONN conferences, GOLD Labor & Delivery Symposium, and the Spinning Babies® Confluence.
With several years of both hospital and home birth experience, she is widely regarded as someone who builds bridges in the birth community. As a mentor, she helps to inspire nurses to revolutionize their practice through the BirthWise Nurse Mentorship Program.
In addition to online group mentorship, she offers restorative retreats and debriefs for nurses that are looking to change the culture of birth. She also has a community midwifery practice, offering full spectrum care.
She lives on an island in the Salish Sea, in Washington State, with her amazing son and two fluffy rabbits.
